Summary of The Influence of Advertising


We know many people use ads to promote the products they sell. Do we know what the purpose of advertising is? Yes, advertising aims to convey information to the public in the form of print media or electronic media. But more ads viewed by the public are ads that exist in electronic media such as television or social media. Advertising is very important in introducing our products. How advertising ads introduce our products can also affect consumer interest in the products we sell. Because technology is getting more advanced, there will be a lot of inter-company product competition. Therefore, advertising must be creative and interesting.

I have collected several ads from several sources such as print media and tv ads, online ads, and commercial. There are many differences and uniqueness in each ad there. There is have ads with simple words, and also have ads with full of words. Some ads also use images that can catch the public's attention. All ads use their uniqueness to attract the attention of the consumer. Sometimes there is a funny thing on the ads that are also the attention of consumers. Ad vertising should strive to introduce products to consumers, so that consumers can know the purpose and benefits of the products we sell.

Like some ads I collect, there are have some ads that I like, but there are also have ads i dislikes. The ads I like are ads that give consumers something positive, like environmental pollution ads and Aqua ads. Advertising should be simple but give a lot of meaning to the consumer. The appearance must be attractive so that consumers are interested in the products offered in the ad. And of course there are ads I do not like. The ads provide good and positive information, but the products sold can harm consumers. Sometimes many consumers do not know the impact of the products they consume, so they continue to consume because it is affected by the existing ads.

For that, we as consumers must be smart and selective in choosing the products we want to consume. Do not be easily influenced to the product ads we see. Do not make a decision right away without finding out the purpose, quality and benefits of the product in advertising. If we are easily affected by the ads we see, then we will easily be fooled and deceived. For that, be a "SMART" and "SELECTIVE" consumer.
